It’s a known fact that we love tacos. I mean we really love tacos.
We’ve made many different types and have even spent mealtimes dreaming of one day running a taco truck of our own!
In fact, if we were held at gunpoint and told to pick a cuisine to cook for crowds of hungry people (not a real hardship I guess) it would be Mexican food every time, and specifically, tacos.
In the UK we are brought up only knowing tacos as the hard, crispy kind. Which, whilst great, have nothing on proper soft corn tortillas.
There’s a great company called Cool Chile who sell not only the masa harina needed to make your own but also ready-made soft tortillas that simply need to be fried. As an alternative, most supermarkets are now selling corn tortillas but they’re usually much larger, fajita sized.

The joy of eating tacos is that each one can taste totally different.
