I love it when lunchtime arrives and normally have something light. Along with being very tasty and simple to prepare, this recipe is just that.
If you have a busy day it won’t take long, about 10 minutes of your time but it’s really worth it. I love avocados and even though they are high in fat, they are good fats so I don’t mind too much! Added to that I’ve also read they are great for your skin so it’s a win-win situation.
Cream Cheese, Smoked Salmon and Avocado on Toast
Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 4 slices seeded bread or bread of your choice
- 50 g light cream cheese
- 150 g smoked salmon
Instructions
- Toast 4 slices of bread to your liking. Once they’re done leave to cool for a minute or two.
- Spread the cream cheese on to the toast evenly. Place the smoked salmon on top.
- Cut the avocado into strips and place on top of the salmon, season with pepper.
- Add a salad garnish if required.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tip
Why not try on a bagel or add egg instead of cream cheese.
