I do love a one-pot meal where you can throw everything in and serve it at the table, we very rarely dish up in the kitchen actually. I find this way quite sociable.
If you’re a vegetarian you could swap the meatballs for whole chestnut mushrooms.
If you double up on the recipe, it would also freeze well and make for great leftovers.
